Name the struggle. Meet a saint. Do one practice.

Daily wisdom from the saints for your modern life.

Saint Match is a kitchen table companion for ordinary Catholic days. You name what is hard, or what is good, and the app matches you with a saint who walked a similar path. Then you get one small practice you can actually finish.

A single candle burning on warm cream marble.

One candle. One saint. One small thing to do today.

How it works

Struggle first. Saint second. One practice.

No leaderboards. No invented streaks of glory. Just a real check in, a real saint, and something small enough for a Tuesday.

1

Name the struggle

Choose a mood. Seeking Peace, Need Focus, Want to Grow, Feeling Grateful, Full of Joy, Ready to Serve. Or write it in your own words.

2

Meet the saint

We match you with a Catholic saint whose life speaks to that moment. Read their story, feast day, and why they were chosen for you today.

3

Do one practice

Accept a 5 to 15 minute action inspired by that saint. Mark it done when you finish. Come back tomorrow if you want to.

Traditional novenas, word for word

Nine days of prayer the way the Church already prays them. No rewrites. No paraphrase. Free with the download.

Published church sources

Traditional novenas in Saint Match come from published church sources like EWTN and the USCCB. The wording is theirs, word for word. We do not edit it and the AI never touches it.

Each one is set to start on the right day so the ninth day lands on the feast. Open the app, tap Start, and pray one day at a time.

First batch includes the Holy Cross novena.
Pray September 5 to September 13. Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on September 14.

How you can tell

In the app, a traditional prayer carries this chip:

Verified published prayer

Tap it and you see Original source, so you know exactly where the text came from.

AI composed novenas are still here

They are a separate path. You set an intention with a saint you have met, and Claude writes a prayer around it. The two never mix. A traditional novena is always the published text and an AI composed novena is always labeled as one.

What is in the app

A companion, not a contest

Matching a struggle to a saint is included when you download the app. Optional Pro unlocks more room to pray and keep a record.

Saint matching

Tell the app how you are feeling. Get a saint whose virtues and life speak to that place, plus a short reason you can sit with.

One daily practice

A concrete action you can do in minutes. Fold laundry with patience. Write one note of thanks. Sit still. Nothing theatrical.

Novenas, two ways

Traditional novenas from published church sources, word for word, free. Or an AI composed novena built around your own intention. Pray one day at a time either way.

A quiet record

Keep a streak if it helps. Look back on saints you have met. Export your Virtue Portfolio as a PDF for a spiritual director if you want to.

What this is not

Not a game. Not a substitute for a parish.

  • Not a game. There are no points to chase and no characters to level up. The point is one honest practice.
  • Not a replacement for the Church. Saint Match is an independent devotional tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for the Catholic Church, the sacraments, or a priest.
  • AI is a helper, not a magisterium. Saint matches and AI composed prayers come from Anthropic Claude and are meant for personal reflection. They are not official teaching. Traditional novenas are published church text and the AI does not write them. Ask your pastor when it matters.
